Oh I love crafts and I do entirely tooooooooo many of them. I dabble in a bit of everything almost. I would like to find one though that I could make a decent income at ...I've been toying with the idea of beaded jewelry. I do quilting, scrapbooking, cross stitching, punchneedle, rughooking, woolfelt applique, and I'm learning to crochet.

I love crafting. I have been making very small sewing projects of late, and branching out in my paper crafting projects (usually just cards or scrapbook pages, but different lately!). I am always making new cosmetic-y type things as well.

It's been a while since I've posted this. THanks all for replying. I have been studying the craft laws of copyrights etc.. So if any one needs advice on that I would try and help answer. I believe as Christian's the Lord has given us a gift of creativity and recycling. Right now I am working on my "paper" craft templates. I am hoping to make a craft book someday. And in thoughts about the "mop cloth for the swifter" study the mop and the old cover, take it apart and measure the pieces, make patterns pieces using wax paper or paper bag making sure you allow a 1/4 seam allowance. Then sew it or use very strong glue. I don't use a mop swifter so I couldn't fax you a pattern. With the recession/depression at hand I am not sure how the craft shows or selling your crafts would do. Last year Christmas shows I did very well, but it is because I sell my crafts very cheap. Like I mentioned before I am a recycle type person and I do go to yard sales often in which I find new craft items (fabrics/pins/glue/paints/beads ect..) for a small song. I also enjoy creating my own designs such as a chair magnet that holds your rings when you wash dishes (the rings fit in the seat that does open) I also make larger one that hold jewlery and a rocking chair that hold your sewing needs. In some I place music boxes and a picture frames. I make some many other things, too many to mention the Lord give me great inspiration.

I love doing crafts & do custom orders crocheting beads, etc. on girls socks & regular crochet (different colors & stitches) on baby socks...also got some of the baby "onsies" & crocheted around the sleeves & the front neck ...love to do that of an evening...I did have a problem when the puppy jumped on my lap & ramed the crochet hook through the fatty part of my palm...ouch...dr. at the ER removed it...after numbing it..whew! Was back doing it again in a couple of days...! I do alot for a consignment shop & some custom orders...I love the Christmas socks...I use red & green beads w/tiny gold jingle bells...I can sell them for about $5 as I use the nicer quality socks...the baby socks sell for $3 ....it's more of a hobby ...can't "mass" produce them...! I also do kids jewelry...w/beads....since our oldest is 14 she's taken an interest in it ..especially the beading jewelry....I do one craft w/old jean pockets (rear pocket) you might do at your shows...take a rear jean pocket & cut around the pocket ...then take craft wire or ribbon, etc. & attatch to the top of each side of the pocket (makes a handle) then decorate pocket & hang on frig. or bullentin board to hold pencils...also can be used for a special "door" hanger or gift filled w/a note pad & pen....or stick a sachet bag into it...I also use pocket (the front of the back pocket) on vests or skirts for the girls...also if you cover binder note books for scrap books you can use denim or any fabric & use the pockets on front for pencils or to put pix in. My girls are doing a scrapbook of their summer adventure this year...one is done in tiny floral fabric w/ a denim pocket on front..the other is done in denim w/different types of lace, ribbons & tiny ribbon flowers...the options are great..then they add either photo pages or something else...good luck...
