Busy so far! This is piano teaching day, but students are all gone for the moment, and I have several more this evening. My youngest son has a cough which sometimes turns into vomiting, (not a stomach flu, just overactive gag reflex) so things have been a tiny bit crazy here.

This afternoon will be a busy one ... after the children finish school lessons we will drive into town (45 miles one-way) & do some shopping for the church's Valentine's banquet & the home school group's Valentine's party next week. Since we do our household shopping in bulk, negating frequent trips, going to town always throws my routine off. Of course, the children LOVE trips into town and are eagerly trying to finish their lessons early today ... I wish they were this eager to finish school work everyday ... tb

The weekends are always lazy around here. My handsome husband doesn't like me doing much while he is home just cooking mainly. He wouks 2nd shift and often doubles and work 3rds so his days and nights are always turned around. He just went to sleep a few minutes ago. I sometimes feel like we are the only family like this. People often look at me like I am an alien when I tell them this. He has to work and we are very thankful for his job and for the overtime that he gets. So if that means all of us being on a bit of a different schedule then I don't mind. We will most likely stay in today but me might go to the laundry mat and do a few loads. I am not sure what he has planned.

My husband is out with Daniel at the men's breakfast this morning, so it's a quiet morning. Amazing what a difference it makes when you take away just one boy from the mix!
