I love aprons. I think they are the epitome of a lady and of the home. My mom never used them but I have always had a like of them. I have a small collection started so far (6 of them), some I use all the time and some for special occasions. Some are just too pretty to use. But I think I am going to get the "pretty" ones out and put them to use as well.

I love aprons. I taught both my girls to wear one. Now that my oldest daughter is married I am making her a few for Christmas to use in her home.

I love aprons too. I've sewn a few and I think I prefer the bib style to the ones that tie around the waste, tho I use both. My very fave so far are the ones that go almost down to the floor...I'm not sure what they are called, but they sure are cool!

I love aprons too, and so does my husband when I am wearing one.. he'll stop and take my hand, or place his hand on my shoulder or wrap his arm around me. Of course they are practical and necessary with a two and a half year old!! I have several kinds, but the cheapest ones I've found are the ones I've converted from skirts or jumpers from yard sales or thrift stores. The tag size really no longer matters, just pick your style - color - and length take it to your sewing machine or a good friend's sewing machine, sew on ties or straps and bingo almost instant apron!! It's a lot of fun too!!

I love the idea of converting old skirts or jumpers into aprons. Wonderful idea for re-using fabric ... tb
