Exodus 23:23 "MY angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out." After reading and studying the power of Passover in scripture, I had a hard time understanding what Exodus 23:23 really was saying. What did all those names really mean and how did they erelate to me personally? Well, after finding the Greek definitions it all made sense to me. - Amorites: that which publicly speaks against you
- Hittites: to terrorize; scare; break down; discourage
- Perizzites: to seperate; be alone; abandoned; no walls or protection
- Canaanites: to bend the knee; humiliate; yesterday's shame showing up today; iniquities
- Hivites: to pierce you through; to show you up; to try to dominate and take control and lead you around - like a ring in your nose
- Jebusites: to trample underfoot; to be on top of; things that try to run over you
Now I can see how this directly relates to me on a personal level, and I can't help but say Glory!!!! Hallelujah!!!! Oh by the way, Hallelujah broken down in the Hebrew litterally means: Light exploding in the face of darknessIsn't the Word of GOD so good!!!!
