Hello! I'm new here. My name is Susan and I live in Oklahoma with my hubby of almost 7 years and our 4 year old son. We share our country home with 2 horses, 2 spoiled dogs, 2 barn cats and 6 baby chicks. I love to cook, sew, garden and bake. I love the simple life and often wonder if I was born 100 years too late (although, I doubt life was simple back then.) Hope to get to know you all better, Susan

It's nice to meet you. I'm also from Oklahoma, but I haven't quite made it to my dream of living in the country. Blessings, Sara

Hi Sara, What part of OK are you in? We are in the NW part of the state, near Enid.

Hi! My name is Amy. I am also a new member. I am 33 yo and have been married to my wonderful husband for 15 years. We have 7 neat children ranging in age from 15-3 yo. We homeschool and are homesteading on 10 acres of MO pasture land. Our last 4 children have been born at home and now I help other women have their babies at home. We are currently trying to finish our new house. Our goal is to reach out to alost and dieing world with the gospel and to train our children to do the same.Amy

Hey Amy & Susan, It's amazing how much in common alot of us are. I too live out in the country. I wish I had a house full of children... but we are working on that. My husband and I have been married 13 years and have 1 daughter. We are in the process of adopting, I am 33 and still have time to have at least 4 more children. We have 4 BR's in our home, and could have 5 (if we convert the den). We would like to fill all those rooms up. To live like it was 100 yrs. ago. We watch the Waltons alot, and I love the way they lived, even though it was durning the depression.
