What any of you sewing or planning to sew? I'm making the tablet holder featured in the spring issue of Keepers at Home magazine and also any sewing lessons in the CLE sewing book I'm going through.

Hi Regina,
Nice to see you post. I, too, like the Keepers At Home publication.
I am currently working on a new church dress for my daughter. Next, I will sew a "camo" shirt for my youngest son. When I finish these projects, I plan to invite a neighbor over and show her how I sew up quick tee-shirt dresses - she has 2 daughters. Also on the sewing list is a crib comforter for a dear friend who's expecting.

That sounds like fun. Would that be easy enough for someone like me who is just learning to sew? I just barely learned what topstitching means! lol

My dd2 is in a Bite Size Broadway group that preforms Christian musical plays and I make all the costumes....! I just finished 37 poly satin capes & decorated foam visors & felt wrist cuffs. A friend was going to serge the capes for me but lost them! Yipes....how do you loose 37 capes? Anyway I'd taken them to her with 2 1/2 weeks before needing them but she didn't tell me until a day before I needed them...Lord helped me get more fabric & get them cut out with pinking shears. Not the look I wanted but everyone seemed to like them. I barter the costumes for the monthly fee...! Last time it took me 2 months to fashion the costumes. Made 3D masks as the play was based on Horton Hears A Who..moral of the story was it doesn't matter what people look like, etc. they're all loved by God....Don't know how to post pix but I'm looking forward to next season when school starts...!I've sewn since I was 10 yrs. & have made levis, dresses, suits. It's truly a God given talent for me...praise HIS HOLY NAME !
