Our tomatoes are really "coming on" now & are sweet & juicy but not completely round....they're so ugly & have to be chunked up...what causes that?

I'm not really sure. I'm new to gardening so I don't have any answers. Maybe the "experts" here can help. The group isn't very active so you might not get an answer for awhile. Maybe someone at a nursery can help.

The most common causes would be planting the seedlings too close together and/or inconsistant watering.
Praising the Lord you all are receiving a good yield this year - even if they are a little funny looking. tb

They're really good but still funny looking...I won't have enough to can though...our green beans didn't make this year & the few we did get were so hard we couldn't eat them...ouch..no canning there either...our weather has really been crazy so I tend to "blame" it on that....boo hoo!!
