Here in S.E. Texas we generally have agreeable weather, but the winter months are still the time of year that I feel most "crafty". Only last week I learned how to make a strip pieced "quilt as you go" Around the World patterned quilt. I finished my little 45" quilt this afternoon and posted a photo of it on my blog if any of you are interested in viewing it. herpeculiarlife.blogspot.com/2011/02/around-world-in-3-days.htmlWhat sorts of projects have all of you been up to these winter months? tb

I like to bottle dry beans in the winter. More time than during the growing season.
I also sew Christmas gifts during the winter.

Wow, very nice, tb. Well, normally I like to sew in the winter, I never seem to. Before Christmas, if I'm planning to make gifts, I sew a lot.
