...I have yet to regret it. ha ha Okay, so when we moved into this house almost five years ago, my husband and I had a lively debate about where to store the plunger. He wanted it on the floor next to the toilet for easy access. I wanted it out of sight in the bathroom cupboard, but we did it hubby's way. Sunday evening DH accidentally broke the cutlery drawer. He went to open it, and the front pulled off, so he took the drawer out and put the pieces on the kitchen floor to be repaired later. On Monday when I thought Caleb was asleep, he was actually in the bathroom playing with the plunger, which finally ended up in the cutlery drawer before I caught him! Yuck! So I was a bad wife and put my foot down. I told Anthony we were storing the plunger in the baby-proofed bathroom cupboard with the cleaners from now on, and we were never again going to discuss the placement of the plunger! Euuuugh! (But I think he's really okay with it now, ha ha.)

Jen that is so funny I think it is ok to be in charge of the house cleaning and placement of the household items I truley believe that the women know best in this regard
My husband tried to help me with my placement of our pantry spices when we first moved in to our house and he put them in my dish soap and mop closet - I told him that I really did'nt think that the spices would be as fresh if placed with the dish soap LOL
Our husbands are the king of our castle but not the king of the our kitchen and bathrooms - Praise God for our husbands!!! But maybe they should leave somethings to the wives- Have a blessed day

tee hee, I agree with you! My husband is very easygoing in a lot of ways, but there are certain things he can't seem to resist micromanaging if he gets this idea that it's more "efficient." I remember when we replaced our old fridge a couple years ago I began to organize things in the fridge door. I put all the condiments together, the salad dressings together, the cooking sauces together, etc. Then one day I went for something that should have been in the fridge door, and couldn't find it. In fact, I couldn't find anything. Why? Because my husband had rearranged everything so that it was GROUPED BY CONTAINER SIZE, because that would be a more efficient use of space. I still can't find anything in there, lol.

Too FUNNY! ...
My Mr. B is also very easy going. He was 43 before he married - he says, "I got tired of having to work all day and then come home and push a broom" ... Sooo, he decided to find a wife and has not had any trouble relinquishing ALL the household management duties to me. BUT I will admit that it annoys him greatly whenever I decide to tidy up and organize (ie. rearrange and purge) the closet or his dresser drawers. He says that as soon as he gets accustom to everything one way, I go in and change it up. I respond by telling him that I'm just trying to keep his life interesting and adventurous. That line always makes him laugh.

p.s. I too store the plunger and toilet bowl scrubber in a cabinet ...
