Our family does NOT splurge on annual vacations (our vacations average about 1 every 3 years). Mr. B and the littles have been talking about various vacation destinations for this summer - however, I have absoultely NO desire to go on a vacation this year - yeah, I'm a boring homebody. I am chaperoning a long weekend trip w/ the little's 4-H club this summer AND that is more than I planned.
Although we have been blessed to enjoy several GREAT vacations, my most favorite holidays have been camping & fishing trips during long weekends.
Does your family enjoy annual vacations? What are your favorite destinations?

Vacations aren't in the budget really. We drive seven hours to New Brunswick to visit my husband's parents once or maybe twice a year, and that is as much as we do. I'd love to go to PEI sometime. I'm a fan of Lucy Maud Montgomery, but have never been to Green Gables.

My husband's job takes him all over the united states. The idea of traveling those same roads, are well, shall we say NOT going to happen. Fortunately, I'm happy with a trip over the mountain a couple times a year to shop four our semi annual stock up. I go to church, do local shopping and unless I have a doctor's appointment, I'm home..yes to some, boring, but to me, why have a home if you're never there? I have animals and a garden. I'm busy most of the year. So why travel? That's just me, I'm boring that way
