I thought it might be nice to have one of these. It's nice to have a place to check in every day and see how everyone is doing. I hope that's ok that I started this thread, Sister Michelle. I know you have a daily devotional already, but I figured that it would be inappropriate to chit chat about daily things on there.

Ok, I'll go first. Today I'm still in bed (it's only 6:21am) and anticipating what's in my day. There's nothing on the calendar, but I do have chores to finish from yesterday since Abi (my 14yo) and I did some of the shopping. So, today is bathroom chores (including the tub and toilet!), floors, cat litter box, washing bedding, dusting; I've also got maintenance chores---regular stuff that needs to be done every day, like dishes, cooking, etc., as well as making sure the bunnies and chickens have all they need. I thought I'd mention that we have three rabbits: one red-eyed white (albino) Jersey Wooly, Alice, who is a fiber rabbit--I spin yarn from her fur; one Mini-Lop, Michelle, who is a grand champion show rabbit--she belongs to Abi, my 14yo; and one Mini-Satin, Allons-y, who is our pet. We also have two chickens, Lucy and Ethel, who are laying hens. They are going pretty strong, laying nice large brown eggs for us daily. We can't eat them right now because the girls are on antibiotics. They are just getting over the avian pox and doing quite well. We also have two dogs (Licorice and Desmond) and two cats (Storm and X-Box). We'd love to have a rabbitry here, but we are only allowed 10 animals on our property, so we try to stay under that number for good measure. We would love to get some land and have a small hobby farm, though. Lord willing. Back to today: we also have school and a 4H meeting tonight, then we'll watch election results until we get tired. What is on your agenda today?

Hi! I'm checking in 2 days late but it's for the week so....*smile* I'm not going to be doing anything different than usual. Watching my 2 grandbabies (4 & 2) everyday while their Mama works, going to Curves at least 3 times this week, reading & playing on the computer. Blessings, Patty

I'm trying to get the house organized today. I cancelled piano lessons tomorrow because of a funeral. It's been kind of a sad week. But on the bright side, I finally found over-the-door shoe organizers for my toddlers' dress shoes. They cost way more than I'd hoped to pay, but I decided in the end that not having to run around on a shoe hunt every Sunday morning was worth it, even if the organizers themselves weren't!
