I am not sute how many ladies here cover their heads, but I have a question. I just started several months ago, and until yesterday, I was only wearing bandanas. I made myself one of these: headcoverings.com/cameowhite1.jpgI tried wearing it, and even secured it with bobby-pins, but nothing would keep it from slipping. I do have fine hair, so maybe that is the issue. Do any of you have any helpful ideas on how to keep it in place? Thank you in advance.

Thank you so much, Sister! That is the exact company I received the free pattern from as well, but I did not see that helps section. Thank you!

I don't cover my head, but I used to wear a bandana type scarf tied at the nape of my neck. When I couldn't find clips (which really DO work the best!), I would criss-cross two bobby pins, in an "x" in a couple of spots, and boy, that scarf stayed put!

I don't cover, but I do have fine (and oily) hair normally. Whenever I have wanted to wear a bandanna or something of that nature I have to wear it sort of like a pirate-style, which is fine for me, but I don't think that's what you are going for. I would go with Sister Michelle's suggestion, with the clips....I think she is probably talking about those kind that close tightly when you bend them? If not, that's what I would recommend anyway. They work well in my hair, and if you got the larger variety, that would seem to work for your cover problems.
