The past several weeks our home computer has been down. However, now that it is back up and running, I wanted to check in and see how all is going with Hannah? Praying everyone is adjusting well and enjoying her. Mrs.B

Thank you for asking!
Things are pretty busy for us right now, but Hannah's doing just fine. She's just about the gassiest baby I've ever seen and has trouble settling for naps in the day because of it, BUT she's been sleeping for a minimum of six hours at night consistently for the past two weeks. A few times she's even slept for eight hours straight, so I'm VERY thankful for that! She's gaining well and beginning to take notice of the world around her. Daddy says he got her to smile for the first time, but he couldn't repeat his success with me watching!
The children all love her, especially Daniel and Abigail. I'm pretty sure Abigail still thinks of Hannah as a very advanced doll! I was concerned about sibling rivalry this time, since the others are old enough to feel jealous, but they really seem to adore the baby and are very gentle with her. The down side is, it took them only a few days to figure out they can get away with murder while Hannah's nursing. So we are working on that! lol (Trust my boys to decide that a lack of attention from Mommy is not a problem, but an opportunity!)

Oh My! I couldn't help but laugh over Hannah's tummy bubbles ... Our #5 EJ also had an excessive amount of bubbles in his tummy. While he was an infant, we nick-named him Tootie-Bug. He is now 11 and his nick-name has been shortened to Toot - fortunately only our immediate family knows the origin of his nick-name. Otherwise, I think he'd suffer a lot of teasing about it.
So glad to hear all is well. tb
