About 3 years ago I bought my first milk cow for the family milk supply. Several other cows have came and went since then and one has died from a bad delivery. I am now milking two cows! The latest delivery was another heifer (baby girl cow) born on the first day of summer. I am thrilled for she will be a replacement cow. We named her Summer. All the bull calves we have become freezer filler. This farming stuff can be pretty tastey! Chickens are ordered for a fall butchering and another batch of rabbits are due in 3 weeks. Pigs are getting big as well. God has truly blessed us!
