Hi Ladies, I know that you don't know me yet, but I had a special blessing that I wanted to share. First I guess that I ought to explain that I absolutely cannot pull my childrens teeth . I know, go ahead and laugh, but it still doesn't change the fact, the very thought makes me shudder, ugh! Anyway, my ds who is almost 7 has lost several teeth, he has pulled everyone of them himself, then one on the top was loose and he had some trouble with it, now it was hanging there and evidently on a nerve so everytime he would pull on it he would cough, it was just killing me, I think I could feel it, you know what I mean? I know that's crazy but it's just the way that I am. With this tooth we were in the car going to my grandparents house and he was coughing and started to cry and said Mama you're going to have to help me . I told him to leave it alone and when we got there Meme (grandma) would pull it for him. Of course he kept messing and messing and crying and coughing finally I couldn't take anymore and I said "Jesus please help him pull his tooth. I can't stand it and it's hurting him, Please Lord help him just to pop it out" that had no more than come out of my mouth when that tooth popped right out, I was so thankful and it gave me a chance to talk to him about prayer. This story does have a wonderful ending.... Long story short the next week the tooth beside it was loose and hurting and bleeding and he was coughing and said Mama, you're going to have to help me, so I said wait just a minute and me or Daddy one will help you, of course it was going to be Dad as he was home at the time and my little boy said to me "Mom can't we just do what we did last time?" Meaning pray....What a blessing! Needless to say we prayed and he popped that tooth right out. I thank the Lord that my children believe that Jesus is real. When we teach them so young they automatically believe and that's half of salvation, right? Anyway that was a blessing to me, hope it blesses you!
