Ladies I have been saved since I was a pre-teen, I am 35 years old as of date. My dad was an assistant pastor at a Word of Faith Church in our area for many years He studied at Rhema Bible training campus (Rev. Kenneth Hagin) and although my parents were divorced all my life he knew it was his job as a parent to make sure I had a faith foundation in my life. My mother was saved one day after my sister and I encouraged her to go to Church with us. Unfortunately she has not been living for the Lord but I still believe that she will return to Him fully in due season.
I have to admit that I have not been as on fire for the Lord as I know I should be. There was a time when I can recall (not too long back either) that my zeal for the Lord was so strong but I had allowed life and things to quench that somewhat. The enemy knew this and it was his pleasure to see me not on fire as that meant I wasn't as big a threat for him. However it didn't stop him from attacking me.
Long story short...it almost cost my marriage. But GOD!!! God was always there with me and never let go of me. He loved me when I didn't love myself let alone anyone else. God brought a great Holy Ghost filled Christian lady into my life and with the prompting of the Lord, she spoke with her mouth the words God wants me to hear. I have regained my strength again to press on in the Lord and the things of the Lord which have in turn brought about great change in the way I view my husband, myself, my marriage and most importantly my relationship with my Saviour.
I am a work in progress and continually will be. But with God as my guide I know all things are possible to those that believe.
In the words of Pastor Steve Hage
"I'd rather have a testimony than a testifony."
