Loving one another is something that is lacking in some homes. Do we tell our children we love them, do we show them? Find out how your child likes to be told. My oldest is a touchy kind of person and it does not matter how much I tell him I love him, if I do not take the time to hug him and snuggle with him it means nothing. I want him to come to me for that and not search else where for that affirmation of love. We need to do not just say. Remember love is a verb. Honor your children. Just as they need to honor you, you need to remember they are people to. Do not degrade them. We do not punish our children because that is getting back at them. It brings up images of some one sulking and trying to hurt someone for a perceived wrong. We correct our children. It is done in a very respectful manner. Never try to harm a child's spirit. If you honor them they will know that you are doing everything to help them and not harm the. Pray for them. Wow what a wonderful opportunity it is to pray for our children. We can go to the God of the universe and petition him on behalf of our children. What power there is at the Throne of God. I will post a list of things to pray for our children later at the prayer section. Look to God for wisdom on what you should be praying for each child.
