Hey All,
This doesn't have anything to do with crafting, sewing, etc. But, earlier this evening I was talking with my #1 (23 and married) on the phone when he gave me a compliment I couldn't believe. He blessed me beyond my grandest dreams. He told me I was the wealthiest person he's ever met. (since he lived half his childhood within poverty, I know he isn't referring to our bank account). I only hope and pray that he will one day realize that all of my wealth lies within Christ and my family. I have been so very blessed with the priviledge of being his mother. When I read proverbs 31 I am so very humbled, and often feel that I will never compare to the image of that woman. I have been so honored by my dear son's kind words. I pray that as all your children grow they will see the beauty of the Proverbs 31 woman in you and bless you as my son blessed me this evening. tb

A compliment like that should just reaffirm to you that you are doing or did something right in all those years of bringing up the boy. You've done you job right and you are blessed! Isn't that what God wants us to strive for? Now, you need to remember this when those days that get you down come along and Satan tries to creep into you path. "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it." I keep hanging on to this one because I have years to go before I'm through. . . . You are blessed indeed!

I still have a long way to go in finishing my child rearing, my youngest just recently turned 6. I am proud that the older children are making their own way in this tough old world but continue to pray for them daily. I too stand on Proverbs 22:6. After much prayer, the Lord blessed me with various Bible promises for each of my children. These have brought me much comfort over the years, especially when times seem to get tough. tb
