I am so glad that all my chicks got here safe. Sadly I lost 8 of them to some problems in the care I was giving them. I am to new to this caring of chickens thing. DH said that I would lose some. The ones that are left are doing well but no longer looking so sweet. The problem with chicks is they grow up to be chickens.

Oh how i remember when we first got chickens.. It was so fun to have those sweet little ones.. We have had chickens now for two years.. It is so hard to believe we have had them that long.. We so love the eggs that they are giving us... They are a true blessing from god.

Last night before bed I was so thirsty so I ran to the kithcen for a drink. I am so glad that I did. The light for the chicks had burned out. I looked in and they were all huddled together. I did not lose any that I know of and am so thankful for that.

I am so thankful that the Lord guided me last night. I guess he watches over chickens as well as sparrows.
