Old-fashioned Corn Pudding
4 cups frozen whole kernel corn 2 cans cream style corn 1 sleeve of saltine crackers, mashed 2 drops vanilla 2/3 cup brown sugar 6 eggs, beaten 1 tsp of pepper 1 tsp. cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine ingredients. Mix. Place in large casserole dish that has been greased. Bake one hour or until golden brown and set.

my dear Sister I made this for a pot luck at church this past Sunday and it was a hit , thank you so much for a really great recipe.

Cornbread Salad> 1 pkg. Jiffy cornbread mix, prepare as directions on box~cool & crumble~ 2 cans pinto beans(drained)~ 2-4 green onions diced~ 1 med. tomato diced~ 1/4 cup diced green pepper~ enough chopped green or black olives to your liking~1 slice bacon crumbled or use bacon bits~ 1/2 cup Miracle Whip & 1 cup picante. Crumble cornbread in bottom of square baking dish~ Mix all other ingredients together & pour over cornbread. Chill and serve cold... totally different taste but really good...enjoy!

SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE
4 1/2 cups cooked and mashed sweet potatoes 1/2 cup butter, melted 1/3 cup milk 1 cup white sugar 1/2 teasthingy vanilla extract 2 eggs, beaten 1 cup light brown sugar 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/3 cup butter 1 cup chopped pecans 2 granny smith apples chopped DIRECTIONS: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. 2. In a large bowl, mix together mashed sweet potatoes, and apples 1/2 cup butter, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs. Spread sweet potato mixture into the prepared baking dish. 3. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar and flour. Cut in 1/3 cup butter until mixture is crumbly, then stir in pecans. Sprinkle pecan mixture over the sweet potatoes. 4. Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.

Apple Filled Acorn Squash
3 x Acorn Squash
2 x Apples, chopped
1/2 c Chopped Walnuts
1 tb Grated Orange Peel
1/2 c Brown Sugar
2 tb Margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cut squash in half lengthwise and scrape out seeds.
Place cut side down in baking dish and bake for 25 minutes. Mix the other ingredients. Turn squash cut side up, fill with apple mix and continue baking for 20 minutes, or until squash is tender.
