What are your favorite cookbooks and why?
1. My "go to" cookbook is Betty Crocker's Cookbook. I've had my edition for more than 30 years. It contains a vast variety of cuisines and most recipes are "from scratch" that do not contain exotic or unusual ingredients.
2. We love Mexican food and Marge Poore's 1,000 Mexican Recipes is the best I've found for authentic Mexican food dishes.
3. Amish Cooking by Pathway Publishers always has wonderful "from scratch" pantry staple recipes that everyone in our home loves.

Honestly, I usually just google recipes, and hardly ever use cookbooks, though I do have several from the "Company's Coming" series, which I like.
