Dear Sisters, I need to come to this message board and ask you to hold my family up in prayer. Last Wednesday I had an appt with a cardiologist way over in Billings and he gave me an echo cardiogram, his findings led to us being turned back to the cardiologist in Spokane, Washington because I have had open heart surgery and it was done there. They were prepared to give me an artificial heart and - praise the Lord- didn't have to, they gave me another heart valve (porcine) and did other things to my heart. There are other challenges, about twenty-four years ago I underwent radiation therapy for Hodgkin's Lymphoma and one of the effects now is that it is calcifying the arteries and "stuff" in my chest. (as I understand what they tell us) So, when they do surgery it is more like leather work than incisions, and like sewing to twigs.. (sorry - that was the language the surgeon used..) ....I may have said too much, but I guess I am just asking my sisters when you have your prayer request lists out you would remember my family. I know the Lord is with us and He will never ever leave or abandon- and he that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide in the shadow of the Almighty... but I will probably have to go back to Spokane- this time for a heart transplant, my husband is a fairly new Christian and we have a three year old son I have so much more to give to. Thank you your sister in Christ, Joanna

Wow Joanna,
I will certainly keep you and your family in prayer.
Deuteronomy 7:9 - Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations
Isaiah 25:1 - O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
